RICS Survey Overview.
The RICS Residential Market Survey for July 2016 (published 11th August 2016) says that “Activity continues to weaken” and that “Stock levels dwindle as fresh sales listings decline”.
The North West once again saw the largest price increases over the month, followed by Northern Ireland, whilst London yet again saw the most substantial decrease.
The South West was the only region to see an increase in the level of new buyer enquiries this month, while the East Midlands saw the largest decrease.
There were only decreases in new vendor instructions – the smallest was in Northern Ireland, whereas the largest was in the West Midlands.
Only Wales and Northern Ireland (once again) had positive levels of newly agreed sales, whereas the West Midlands saw the lowest.
