Easingwold Surveyors
A Local and Independent Surveying Service
Easingwold Surveyors are independent Surveyors covering Easingwold and the surrounding area. We provide expert, tailored advice on all types of property and buildings, including residential and commercial buildings.
When purchasing your new home, the right building survey conducted by an experienced and qualified Chartered Surveyor can provide you with all the information you need to make an informed final decision on a property. If your Chartered Surveyor identifies any significant defects in the property being inspected, your professional survey report could help you renegotiate the purchase price.
Party Wall Act Surveys and Services
We are able to provide Party Wall surveys and awards for residential and commercial buildings, as well as schedules of condition and dilapidation.
Under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996, every ‘adjoining owner’ is subject to the provisions of the Act when one person carries out work on their home. In a typical domestic property scenario this is usually limited to one or two parties. Larger commercial developments can encompass many freehold properties and tenanted properties. The notices and recording of condition should always follow the protocol of the Party Wall Acts. Easingwold Surveyors often act for the party carrying out the building works, as joint surveyors acting to make sure matters are appropriately dealt with as well as for the neighbouring property owners to protect their own interests.

Easingwold
Easingwold is set at the foot of the beautiful Howardian Hills of North Yorkshire. The town was originally two smaller villages, Uppleby and Lessimers.
Easingwold market dates back to the 17th century, but the original Shambles has since been replaced by the Easingwold Town Hall building which dates back to 1864, and now houses a printing company that produces the Easingwold Advertiser. The market square is well maintained and surrounded by period buildings with cobbled sections, including a number of award winning eateries and public houses. Some 51 Listed buildings exist in Easingwold.
The town of Easingwold is the economic centre for a larger rural population including villages, such as Crayke, Brandsby, Yearsley, Stillington, Tollerton, Alne, Raskelf, Husthwaite and Oulston. As a consequence, Easingwold School and Sixth Form college caters for around 1000 pupils with a population in Easingwold itself of only about 5,000.
With building surveys to suit every property and budget, and our dedicated team’s extensive knowledge of Easingwold and the surrounding area, we can provide comprehensive, quality advice you can trust. We will help guide you all the way through your property purchase, getting to know you and the property on an individual level.
